Näsinneula turns 55 years.

Congratulations to our very own Näsinneula observation tower, for being the number one landmark and a major tourist attraction in Tampere for 55 years!
Thousands of people not only see it but also feel it every year – especially if you’re lucky enough to dine at Restaurant Näsinneula, the fine dining restaurant offering a spectacular 360-degree birds-eye view over Tampere and the surrounding lakes. Enabled by six motors and gears supplied by ATA in 1971, the restaurant on a gently rotating floor makes a full circle every 45 minutes. If you prefer a faster ride, you can try the ‘Tyrsky’ Disc’O Coaster in the Särkänniemi Theme Park, which spins people around at the maximum speed of 70 km/h. The spare gears for the machine were ordered from ATA in 2024.
